Budding actress Anya Singh, who appeared as the female lead in the web series titled “Never Kiss Your Best Friend”, says the uncertain time post-COVID-19 makes her nervous, but she is being positive.

“Establishing myself in any field is a tough task and of course it will be tougher for new actors like us. I am scared of the uncertainty that we have to go through. We know that things will be normal, but the question is when. It is actually such a unique situation that the more we think, the more we get into a dark zone. So I am trying to spend a day with productivity. If we are productive, we feel positive. I am taking master classes and working on my craft. I am reading more because it helps to keep my mind positive. I really do not want to feel the uncertain, unstable situation in my mind,” Anya told IANS.

The actress made her Bollywood debut in Habib Faisal’s directorial “Qaidi Band” in 2017. She has also appeared in the Telugu film “Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene”.

The ZEE5 show “Never Kiss Your Best Friend” has given her a positive response from the audience and Anya sees digital entertainment as a space for constant opportunity.

“I also sense that all OTT platforms will show interest to make lot more original content, once the full-fledged shooting starts. We have been shifting to home entertainment for a while. Even when normalcy returns, initially we will only prefer to go out for essential work and not for entertainment to the cinema halls. But content making will continue so projects will be lined up for digital entertainment,” she reasoned.

Neha Dhupia Tells Her Fans To Be Kind To Their Body: “DON’T Waste As Much Time As I Did”

Actress Neha Dhupia says it took a while for her to be proud and comfortable in her own skin, adding that it is important to be “kind to yourself and your body”.

“Remember that photo of yourself from 5 years ago that makes you feel bad about your current weight? Well that same person 5 years ago had something else making her feel bad about her weight. We’re programmed to feel unworthy, to feel not good enough,” Neha Dhupia said in her Instagram post.

She added: “Be kind to yourself and your body, it’s the only one you’ve got! It took me a while to understand this and be proud and comfortable in my own skin. If you’re reading this, DON’T waste as much time as I did! Your weighing scale doesn’t define you, you do! … #beenthruthicknthin.”

Neha Dhupia also shared multiple pictures of herself from different stages of her life to prove her point. She also shared a clip from the auditions of “MTV Roadies Revolution” to talk about embracing inclusiveness.

In the upcoming episode of “Roadies Revolution”, Neha will also be seen talking about how she had put on 23 kgs during her pregnancy phase and was afraid that it might cost her the show. However, Neha Dhupia was included in the show irrespective of her appearance.

Neha, who is married to actor Angad Bedi, gave birth to daughter Mehr in November 2018.

EXCLUSIVE! Nithya Menen On Breathe: Into The Shadows Releasing Amid The Dark Phase Of 2020: “We Could Have Our Personal Opinions But…”(Pic credit: nithyamenen/Instagram)

Nithya Menen made her Bollywood debut with Mission Mangal. Further, the actress went onto grab an exciting project, Breathe: Into The Shadows. Co-starring Abhishek Bachchan and Amit Sadh, the show is a thriller, directed by Mayank Sharma.

Koimoi got into an exclusive conversation with Nithya. The actress spoke to us in length about her upcoming Amazon Prime show. Starting with how she feels it’s her best performance to date to the dark theme – she opened about it all. But what grabbed our eyeballs is her take on the show’s release.

Amid the ongoing pandemic and the dark phase, people are trying to stay positive. Given the fact that Breathe: Into The Shadows is a crime thriller, we asked Nithya Menen if she thinks it’s the right time to release such content.

To this, Nithya Menen responded, “Personally, we can all have our own tastes and interest. There’s such a diverse kind of audience. Like I hate horror, I would never watch it at all. But there’s a large audience who would. Breathe, of course, is a thriller. What I’m saying is, we could have our personal opinions but the audience is diverse and varied interests. The thing with OTT is it caters to everyone’s personal preference.”

Asked whether there was any pressure to take the franchise forward, “The first season was a completely different story. This is a brand-new storyline, nothing to do with the previous season. It’s just that the franchise name is there. I don’t think there should be any hangover of the first season at all. You don’t actually have to watch the first season to watch the second one,” Nithya responded.

Menen also shared how according to her, it’s her best performance till date. “Breathe in my opinion, it’s my best performance so far. That makes it really exciting because very rarely I feel satisfied with any performance of mine. A lot of times I feel like something could have been done better, revisit certain scenes and stuff like that. With Breathe, I’m really happy and can’t wait to see what that would look like on-screen,” said the actress.

She concluded sharing her experience on the Breathe: Into The Shadows sets. “The whole shoot was wonderful. I was very fond of the crew. There were some great actors on set. Even others apart from me, Abhishek (Bachchan) and Amit (Sadh). Rest were all so well cast, so the entire experience was really happy. Mayank is the kind of director that I want to work with. I get excited to work around him,” said Nithya Menen.
