Cardi B Slams the Reports of her own TV Show

Cardi B responded reports that she is going to star in her own TV series. Per a May 23 report from ET Canada, the rapper closed down rumors indicating she had been planning on going into the small screen to get a brand new series — one supposedly to be known as Bocktails with Cardi B — also made it fairly obvious she has no plans to receive her own show anytime soon.

“No I am not doing a television series. I am just trade indicating different beverages [sic] title,” that the”Bodak Yellow” rapper explained on Twitter yesterday amid the rumors that were swirling.

At another message posted on her Twitter accounts, she chose on TMZ. TMZ had initially reported that she had been trademarking the name to become over a rapper, which makes the big movement to transform himself into a TV celebrity.

“TMZ gets one piece of information and put legs and feet on that b****!” the mom of one quipped of the celebrity news site.

A number of fans responded to her messages on the social media site, with many making it pretty clear that they were actually disappointed that the star won’t be taking part in her own TV show anytime soon.

TMZ also reported that the name would cover a number of different clothing items as, well as “alcoholic beverages, except beer and beverages containing beer,” which she’s since confirmed.

When I pull up it gets hectic !

Cardi B’s rumor correction on Twitter comes shortly after she made the decision to cancel a string of shows due to recent plastic surgery.

CNN reported that the rap superstar was forced to pull the plug on three of upcoming concerts she had planned in order to recover from her procedures.

Though she initially denied having gone under the knife to alter her appearance, Cardi eventually came clean about the fact that she had undergone liposuction. She had previously confirmed that she’d also had a breast augmentation following the birth of her daughter, last July.

“I have some news for y’all. I should have canceled today,” she told the fans who had gathered to see her while performing in Tennessee. Cardi then admitted, “I shouldn’t really be performing because moving too much is gonna f*** up my lipo.”

Country Strong! Relive Faith Hill and Tim McGraw’s Romance

As sweet as a love song! Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have one of the strongest relationships in the music industry — and their bond just keeps getting better.

The country couple first met at a Nashville gig in late 1994, when they were each seeing other people. At the time, the “Just to See You Smile” singer was dating Kristine Donahue, and Hill had just finalized her divorce from Daniel Hill. Two years later, Faith joined McGraw on the Spontaneous Combustion tour and sparks began to fly.

After a whirlwind romance, the “Don’t Take the Girl” crooner wed his country cutie in October 1996 in his Louisiana hometown. Nearly 20 years later, McGraw looked back on the romantic moment he proposed to his soulmate on tour.

“We were in the dressing room, here, June 26, 1996, and it was raining and stuff and we’d been on tour for a while together, and I joked around with her about getting married. And so I looked at her, grabbed her by the hand, and dropped forward [on my knees] onstage,” he recalled in a nostalgic video in October 2015. “She said, ‘We’re at a country music festival in a trailer house, and you’re asking me to marry you?’ And I said, ‘Yeah.’ So I went onstage … When I came back offstage, [I saw] a Sharpie with lipstick kisses all over it, saying, ‘Yes! I’m gonna be your wife.’”

The couple brought their love all across the country — and later, around the world — on their Soul2Soul tour. Between gigs, awards shows and recording hits, the pair welcomed three daughters: Grace in 1997, Maggie in 1998 and Aubrey in 2001.

Even through their most difficult moments, McGraw and the “Mississippi Girl” songstress have stood strongly by each other’s side. When Faith lost her father, Ted Perry, in February 2019, her husband shared a loving tribute on social media in his honor.

“He was the sweetest, kindest most gentle man I’ve ever known,” McGraw wrote at the time. “No man in my life has ever made such an impact on me as to how to be a human, a father and a friend.”

Freddie Mercury’s cats: From early days with Mary to his last ever photo at home

International Cat Day is marked by pet fans across the globe. Nobody loved his furry fans more than Freddie, who rehomed rescue cats throughout his career. He called home from tour to talk to them and made sure they were lavishly looked after in his will. He wore his favourite cat waistcoat (made by friend Donald MacKenzie) in his final Queen video, These are The Days Of Our Lives. He even wrote a song for his favourite feline, although many thought the song was about a woman.

Freddie’s partner Jim Hutton described in the memoir Freddie And Me the special place the cats had in the star’s heart.

He wrote: “Freddie treated the cats like his own children. He would constantly fuss over them, and if any of them came to any harm when Freddie was away, heaven help us.

“During the day, the cats had the run of the house and grounds, and at night, one of us would round them up and bring them inside.”

Jim took the last known photographs of Freddie, days before his death, in his garden – one of the cats, of course, by his side.

Freddie’s long-term girlfriend Mary Austin bought them the first pair of cats in the early 1970s.

Tom and Jerry were followed through the years by Tiffany, Dorothy, Delilah, Goliath, Lily, Miko, Oscar, and Romeo.

The cats would receive their own stockings at Christmas and when Freddie was on tour he would call home and Mary or his personal assistant Peter Freestone would hold the cats up to the receiver.

Just as incredible as the way he spoiled the cats was the way he found them in the first place.

The album Innuendo includes a track written about the cat and named for her.

The lyrics of Delilah include the classic lines “when you throw a moody you’re all claws and you bite,” and “you make me slightly mad, when you pee all over my Chippendale suite.”

Smith said of the cat: “She was a real character, that lady… She was a bit of a bully to the others, but was always first on his lap, first for food.”

Hutton described Delilah as: “the little princess of their home, the one he’d pick up and stroke the most often.”

Natasha Bedingfield’s favourite photograph

“LOOK at my ‘proud sister’ smile as I look towards my older brother Daniel. This photo was taken just after our joint 2005 BRIT Awards performance of Chaka Khan’s Ain’t Nobody. That performance was one of my favourites and, just thinking about it, still gives me goose bumps.

It was a really special night because we were there as brother and sister and able to sing together. One of the things we were thinking about as we went out on stage was when Michael and Janet Jackson collaborated to sing Scream in 1995. We wanted to sing it like them – like we were in a battle, going back and forth with that same energy.

Our friend David Arnold did the music for the performance, and he’s the man behind some of the Bond music, so it had a real drama to it with amazing drummers and live strings. And both my brother and I are large characters on stage so we were trying to make ourselves a little smaller for each other to let the other shine.

Growing up, I honestly didn’t imagine it ever happening. We didn’t even listen to the radio – our parents said, ‘You can watch these Disney movies and that’s it.’ Maybe that’s what the secret is.

We also grew up in the church, where music is a huge part of religion and really helps people to connect spiritually. We’ve always thought of it as a vehicle that takes you somewhere. We’d go on car rides and always sing in harmonies. Daniel definitely trained my sister, Nikola, and I how to do those and he’d be the first to tell us if we were out of tune.

Another of my biggest memories from childhood is Daniel walking around the house beatboxing all the time, even when he was supposed to be loading up the dishwasher. We all experimented with our voices constantly. Looking back, I feel so sorry for our neighbours as we must have been the loudest family to live next door to.

And we were always close. There are four of us siblings and we all have that type of relationship. But Dan is two years older than me and there was something about being the first two. They say girls mature quicker than boys, so at times we felt like we were twins.

Then, as we got older, it was very unique and special that I had a brother who was already in the music industry. Daniel had worldwide hits before I was even on the scene and, when my music blew up in 2004, I felt very grateful to him for paving the way.

It was great that I had someone who I could ask questions and he was also kind enough to let me use his incredible band. There’s a lot of love and respect there – everything I know about how to sing, I learnt from him.

Now, having gone through something so similar with our music, we’ve had great conversations about our experiences. One of the things we both share is a great desire to be authentic and true
to ourselves.

And on a personal level, it’s been so lovely to see Daniel as an uncle to my son Solomon, who’s two. It’s so interesting to see how a kid changes the dynamics of a family – all the way from his grandparents to his aunties and uncles.
Solo came into the music studio with me when he was four months old, so he already knows about music and is very musical himself. I think he probably thinks every mum and her family sings on stage.”

Natasha’s new single Together In This is out now. The lead track to new children’s animation film Jungle Beat: The Movie, it’s also out now to download.
