Destiny 2 The Lie Quest: Unlock Felwinter’s Lie In No Time

Published

on

The weekly reset on May 12 brought something new to Destiny 2: a quest called The Lie. It started with a big community event that requires players to band together and complete Seraph Tower events all over the solar system, and ends with a bunch of new Rasputin lore and a powerful new shotgun: Felwinter’s Lie.

The community-wide step is complete, allowing players to progress the rest of the quest on their own. Unfortunately, the quest was slowed pretty significantly, thanks to a bug that messed up The Lie’s final step, a mission called “The Tyrant.” A new patch has fixed that step, so everyone can now complete it. Here’s how to get Felwinter’s Lie in your collection as quickly and painlessly as possible.

The Lie Quest Steps

Warmind Evaluation

The first portion of the quest requires you to visit Ana Bray, who says that the warmind Rasputin has information it wants to share with you–but not before the situation with the Almighty, the threat that has loomed over the entire Season of the Worthy, has been satisfactorily dealt with. To get it handled, you and the rest of the Destiny 2 community needed to head to the EDZ, Io, and the Moon, and complete Seraph Tower activities. The good news is, that part is done.

Mafia 3: Definitive Edition Files Reveal A Berlin Map From A Cancelled Project

Mafia III: Definitive Edition, the newly released version of Mafia III that includes all of the game’s DLC, seems to include a new asset within it. Files have been discovered within the game that show off a map of Berlin, and although it’s missing textures, the full town map seems to be in there.

On YouTube, Sliderv2 has posted a video (as seen on Resetera) exploring the map as Mafia III protagonist Lincoln Clay, showing it from both the air and ground. While the video does not explain how the map was accessed, it lines up with earlier reports about a cancelled game by developer Hanger 13.

A 2018 report on Kotaku about the developer outlined their plans for a new game, Rhapsody, which would be an 80s-set spy game that saw you playing a Russian Jew out for revenge for the murder of their parents.

EA Will Remain The Exclusive Developer Of NFL Simulation Games For Years To Come

Published

EA Sports and the NFL are going to extend their deal to keep making more Madden games for years to come. That’s according to a report from Sports Business Daily and information from Albert Breer of MMBQ (see the tweet below). They both say the NFL owners will vote this week to give EA exclusive rights to making simulation football games through the 2025 season. According to the reports, the new deal could extend to the 2026 NFL season if the game series reaches “certain revenue goals.”

The deal between EA and the NFL will also reportedly give the game developer non-exclusive rights to arcade-style NFL games in addition to “embedded companion apps/modes.” EA’s deal with the NFL is currently set to expire at the end of the 2021 season.

This new deal comes not long after the NFL and Take-Two reached their own deal for non-simulation NFL games. 2K’s first new NFL game under its own contract won’t be released for some time. EA remains the only company that can develop officially licensed simulation football games.
