Earlier, this month officials announced the live-action remake of the classic Disney animation – which had seen its theatrical release but delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, they are all set to release the Mulan on Disney plus instead.
Originally due to be released in cinemas in March, Mulan will be made available exclusively for Disney+ customers to buy via the streaming service for a premium price, on top of the monthly £5.99 subscription fee.
In a recent tweet on Tuesday (August 25), Disney confirmed the film would be available for UK customers from September 4 for the price of £19.99.
“The legend arrives. Stream Disney’s #Mulan on September 4.“ mentioned in the tweet.
“Exclusively available to Disney+ subscribers with Premier Access for £19.99. For more info go to”
The news follows confirmation Mulan will also be available for Disney+ customers in the US, also from September 4, for a one-off purchase price of $29.99.

Mulan will also be available to rent through Google, Apple TV, and Roku via app in purchase.
The move means viewers who buy Mulan will be able to stream the film multiple times and watch it on a number of devices where Disney+ is available, as long as they have an active subscription to the streaming service.
