Distressed by article 370, these leaders including Farooq Abdullah have crores of land: Since the removal of Article 370 (Article 370) from Jammu and Kashmir, the panic can be seen clearly in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the National Conference (NC). Leaders of both parties have termed this step taken by the Modi government against the Constitution. The debate over buying land in Kashmir has intensified since Article 370 was removed from Jammu and Kashmir. Amidst the discussion of land, a news has come, according to which 63 per cent of the people of Jammu and Kashmir have half a hectare or less of the cultivated land while there are 97 people in the state who have more than 20 hectares of cultivable land. NC leader Farooq Abdullah alone has 1.12 acres of cultivated land, which is being valued at around Rs 10.60 crore. 

According to the report of Kashmir, crores of land are available with the leaders of Kashmir. At the top of this is the name of Karan Singh. The market value of the house and land of Congress leader Karan Singh is Rs 95.21 crore. Karan Singh has two orchards of 11 and 31 acres in Srinagar. Jammu has 78 acres of garden and Pahalgam has four acres. 

At the same time NC leader Mo. The market value of the land owned by Akbar Loan is Rs 59.60 crore. Akbar Lone has a 3600 sq ft house of Baramulla MP. NC leaders own 11.8 acres of land worth Rs 75 crore and have 2500 sq ft non-agricultural land.

The property that is available with PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti has a market value of Rs 55 lakh. Mehbooba Mufti gave this information in the 2019 election affidavit. Mehbooba has a five thousand sq ft house with 5440 sq ft of cultivated land worth 25 lakh rupees.

According to the report, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad owns land worth Rs 1.97 crore in Maharashtra while his wife owns a Rs 60 lakh house in Srinagar. In the election affidavit given in Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad has said that he does not have any land in Kashmir.

Recently, Justice Markandey Katju, the former judge of the Supreme Court made another controversial statement on Twitter on April 12. This time he tweeted about the global epidemic Coronavirus.

Justice Katju tweeted: “If there is a God, why does he not tell corona to buzz off ? Or does he like tormenting people ?”

The former judge of the Supreme Court is known to make controversial statements. A Twitter user says, “Kidding you sound !”

But he reverted and said, “I am not kidding. I am asking a serious question. In Dostoevsky’s great novel Brothers Karamazov it was asked by one of d brothers if there is a God y do children, who havent done any harm 2anyone, suffer ? Der r millions of children in d world hungry, shivering in cold, homeless.”

In another tweet, he said, “if there is a God, why does not eradicate corona.” Replying to one user, Justice Katju said, “I am not kidding. I am asking a serious question. Fate Of Lockdown To Be Decided Tomorrow 10AM: What To Expect ? Different Zones! Liquor Shops?

After much anticipation since the day he held a meeting with the chief ministers of state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will finally be addressing the nation at 10 am on April 14. The 21 Days lockdown is about to end on 14th April 2020 i.e tomorrow , It is the day when the lockdown extension will be made official by the Government.

In a tweet on Monday afternoon, the PMO Twitter handle announced that PM Modi will address the nation at 10 am on Tuesday.

After the meeting of PM with other states chief minister, the nation is expecting lockdown extension till 30th April. Now It’s the government which has to decide whether  to care about the  economy or to care about it’s people. It will be a difficult decision for the government as a result the news is coming that the govt might opt for a balanced approach and will divide the nation into different zones:-

Red

The districts with substantial numbers of positive cases would fall under the red zone. The coronavirus red zone will be totally sealed and no activity will take place.

Orange

The areas with limited number of cases in the past and with no surge in positive cases recently would be included under the orange zone. Only restricted activities such as limited public transport and farm product harvesting is expected to be allowed in coronavirus

Green

The districts with no coronavirus positive cases would fall under the green zone.

In the meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, chief ministers reportedly rooted for limited movement of people in the extended lockdown period. They also asked for opening of liquor shops since these generate a substantial part of the state revenue.

Several states such as Maharashtra, Punjab, Telangana and others have already extended the lockdown till April 30.

Soon after Saturday’s meeting, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was in news when he tweeted that the PM has agreed to extend the lockdown and expressed his gratitude.

According to the latest Official reports by the Government, The number of coronavirus cases in India has crossed the 9,000-mark while the death toll has crossed 300.

Delhi shook again by Earthquake 2.0- 2 DAYS IN A ROW!

The citizens of Delhi felt the tremors of a minor earthquake for a second day in a row on Monday, April 13 afternoon.

The National Centre for Seismology said the earthquake occurred at 1.26 pm at a depth of 5 kilometres.

On April 12 Delhi had felt the tremors of an earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale and these were felt in the neighbouring cities of Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad.

The people of Delhi seem to be panic stricken by such actions of nature and the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal had tweeted hoping for everyone’s safety.
