Doctors arrive at AIIMS to treat Arun Jaitley from Vietnam halfway



The health of former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is constantly improving. It is reported that water has been taken out of Arun Jaitley’s langs and medicines are being given. According to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Arun Jaitley’s health has improved. According to doctors, they will be kept for three to four days now and in a similar manner. Only after this, further treatment will be done. Meanwhile, news is coming that AIIMS director Randeep Guleria has canceled his foreign tour midway to treat Arun Jaitley and he has returned.

AIIMS director Dr. Randeep Guleria was on a visit to Vietnam, but has returned to treat and supervise Arun Jaitley. Significantly, the former Union Minister was admitted to AIIMS at 11 am on Friday due to difficulty in breathing. Jaitley was undergoing treatment for kidney problems and some infections. 

Jaitley underwent a bariatric operation in September 2014. For a long time, he underwent this operation to diagnose the problem of weight gain due to diabetes. This operation was first done at Max Hospital but later due to some problems, he was shifted to AIIMS. A few years ago, his heart was also operated.

Shah Rukh Khan’s group companies announce several initiatives to fight against COVID-19



Shah Rukh Khan’s group companies, Kolkata Knight Riders, Red Chillies Entertainment, Meer Foundation and Red Chillies VFX announced several initiatives to support the efforts of Prime Minsiter, Shri Narendra Modi and the Government in its COVID-19 fight.

SRK on April 2 tweeted about these initiatives and said how important ‘the expression of humanity’ is. SRK and his team have decided to focus their efforts on the three cities- Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi and expressed their gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Chief Minsters of the aforementioned states as well as the leaders of all the states and the union territories. 

In an effort to ensure the availability of basic necessities to all and raise awareness about COVID-19 and encourage more people to come forward and help, the funds will be distributed amongst different partners as follows:

1.      PM Cares Funds

2.      Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund

3.      Personal Protective Equipment for HealthCare Providers

4.      Ek Saath- The Earth Foundation

5.      Roti Foundation

6.      Working People’s Charter

7.      Support for acid attack survivors

According to SRK, this is just a start and he says that as a nation, it is our duty to give it all that we have got.

He says, “Raat ke baad naye din ki sahar aayegi, Din nahi badlega, tareekh badal jayegi…”

Babita Phogat deletes her tweet allegedly calling Nizamuddin Muslims “illiterate pigs spreading coronavirus in India”



Wrestler and Commonwealth Gold medaliat, Babita Phogat seemed to have targetted membere of a Muslim community in her tweet on Thursday referring to the gathering at Nizamuddin.
She wrote in Hindi: “फैला होगा चमगादड़ से तुम्हारे वहा। हमारे हिंदुस्तान में तो जाहिल सूअरों से फैल रहा है (At your place it might have spread through bats, in Hindustan it spread through illiterate pigs).” To establish her point even more firmly, she promptly added the hashtag Nizamuddin idiot to her post.

Twitter is divided into people who are criticising her post and calling out the hypocrisy as other communities had gatherings too and the over 10 thousand people who have liked it and expressed strong sentiments against the Nizamuddin gathering.
While some call this her political agenda, an attempt to gain respect within her party (BJP), some slam her saying she just disrespected Aamir Khan, a Muslim, responsible for her popularity.

The sports star has deleted her tweet after hoards of tweets condemning her action were posted by people.

PM Modi Another Address To the Nation! Check out Date,Timings & More



Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted that he would be addressing the nation on April 3 at 9 in the morning amidst the chaos of the 21 days lockdown due to coronavirus.

“At 9 am tomorrow morning, I’ll share a small video message with my fellow Indians,” PM Modi tweeted in English and Hindi.

It was in one his previous messages to the country in which the PM issues the 21 days lockdown and suggested to the whole nation to stay in their houses and reassured the population that basic necessities of everyone will be fulfilled.

During the 21 days lockdown that started on March 25, 2020, PM Modi has been sharing a number of unique and helpful ideas to make the best use of the quarantine period including a series of yoga exercises to the citizens to stay fit while at home.

Recently, he shared a video on ‘Yoga Nidra’ — a yoga asana which he practices at least twice a week.

“Whenever I get time, I practice Yoga Nidra once or twice a week,” he wrote on Twitter. Yoga Nidra is known for relieving stress. “It furthers overall well-being, relaxes the mind, reduces stress and anxiety,” he added.

In his regular Mann Ki Baat program, he also shared how Indians were making the best use of their time during the lockdown, by spending time with their families, making new dishes and reading books etc.

Apart from that, Modi held a meeting with chief ministers on the outbreak via video-conferencing on Thursday.

The number of COVID-19 cases climbed to 1,965 in the country on Thursday while the death toll rose to 50, according to the Union Health Ministry.
