“REDEMPTION is another harbinger of what’s to come on the new album FAITH,” frontman Hutchcraft says of the new song.
“It’s a song about fear and doubt. It emerged as a beautiful moment of clarity during one of the most troubled periods of making the album.”
Multi-instrumentalist Adam Anderson goes on to call the track “a perfect storm of everything we do well individually, coming together in one moment”.
Hutchcraft recently spoke to NME about the band’s time away and the exhaustion that he experienced after the end of the band’s last tour. “I was physically and mentally absolutely exhausted. To the point where I was at breaking point.
“I had to stop and not do anything for a while because I couldn’t think, I couldn’t focus, or anything. And I didn’t know what the future held really. I didn’t know if we’d make another album again.”
Anderson added: “If you’d have told me when we started it, how coherent, powerful, and authentic it is, many months later, I probably wouldn’t have believed you. At one stage, I thought we had no chance.”
Beatles girlfriends: Who were the Beatles dating before they got famous?
“It had been the same with other girlfriends I’d had. There was something the matter with me.”
Despite these difficulties, Cynthia and John got married, after she became pregnant with their son, Julian Lennon.
Speaking about how Cynthia felt about their marriage when Beatlemania hit in her 2006 book, John, she said: “I was usually dismissed as the impressionable young girl who fell for him, then trapped him into marriage.”
Cynthia also claimed she was told to pretend she was someone else to keep her marriage to John secret in their early days, telling NPR: “I was asked many times if I was John’s wife, and I had to refuse and say, ‘No, no, I’m somebody else.’”
Julian was born on April 8, 1963, but John said unsavoury things about him in his 1980 interview with Playboy.
Viola Davis Takes Over for Kylie in the ‘WAP’ Video — and Cardi B Reacts
“Who did this? 😩🤣😍 #HowToGetAwayWithWAP,” the 54-year-old Oscar winner wrote via Instagram on Sunday, August 9, alongside an edit of her face on the 23-year-old reality star’s body.
The most supportive comment of all, however, came from the 27-year-old “Bodak Yellow” rapper herself. “I’m so fan out right now ya don’t even know,” Cardi tweeted on Sunday, sharing the hilarious edit on her own feed.
On Friday, August 7, Cardi broke the internet with the video for her latest single with Megan Thee Stallion. Jenner was one of many famous faces to appear in the visual, along with Normani, Rosalía, Mulatto and Rubi Rose. Despite the fierce female empowerment on display in the video, fans weren’t too happy with the decision to include the Kylie Cosmetics founder in such an otherwise diverse group of women.
“Normani did ALL this and Kylie walked down the hall and opened a door,” one fan tweeted about the video on Sunday. “If that’s not a perfect visual indication of Black women having to do the most and white women do the bare minimum to get somewhere, I don’t know what is.”
Cardi, however, was quick to fire back at the negativity surrounding Jenner’s cameo, noting that the makeup mogul was “so lovely” to her daughter, Kulture, and her sister, Hennessy, at Stormi Webster‘s birthday party.
“Normani is one of the best female artist that dances Like she dances her f–kin ass off! Why would she open a door? Please tell me how that would make sense?” the Grammy winner replied. “The best part of the song is the beat & hook it what makes you want to shake your ass. … Not everything is about race. Theres issues out here in the world that it is about race that I preach all the time about. This is not about f–kin race.”

John Lennon Elton John: Did they ever collaborate? Story behind Sir Elton and Lennon songs
However, John and Sir Elton’s collaborations were few but mainly consisted of the pair contributing their musical talents to each other’s work.
First, Sir Elton asked for his friend’s help on a Beatles cover, and in 1974 John helped Sir Elton form his version of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.
The B-side to this track was One Day at a Time, by John Lennon, and thus began a beautiful partnership.
Of course, John was not going to appear on the track in a normal way, and instead, he was credited as Dr Winston O’Boogie, with Winston being John’s middle name.
