The government and many other institutions are using the social media networks for imparting knowledge about coronavirus as well as requesting people to stay inside their houses and follow all the precautionary measures. The memes, Bollywood songs and sequences are also being used for the purpose of making people aware about the importance of staying at home and maintaining social distancing.

The official Twitter handle of Israel also chose a wonderful way of asking its citizens to remain indoors and not to lose patience as the nation has claimed that it has made a breakthrough in developing the antidote of the virus. The dialogue from a Bollywood movie “ABCD2” which starred Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles was used by Israel’s Twitter account.

The tweet read,

सही दिशा में उठा हर कदम … अपने आप में एक मंज़िल है… आखिर ज़िन्दगी का मतलब ही अपना अगला कदम चुनना है।

“Every step taken in the right direction… is like achieving the goal in itself… After all life is all about the next step”.

When this tweet was noticed by the lead actor of the movie Varun Dhawan, he became very happy over the fact that the dialogue of his movie has become so popular.

He tweeted, .

The coronavirus pandemic has adversely affected a number of sectors including Bollywood as the release of few movies has been postponed for an indefinite period while the shooting of many movies has come to a halt.

Actress Sanjana Sanghi bonded with late Sushant Singh Rajput over food and academics while shooting for “Dil Bechara“, and says she still has the “kindest note about what the colliding of academia and cinema means”, which she received from Sushant.

Sanjana will be making her Bollywood debut opposite late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in “Dil Bechara“, casting director-turned-filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra’s directorial debut.

Looking back at the first meeting over a script reading session, Sanjana said: “We both, nerds, had read the script down to its last word respectively, and both our copies looked like they were tattered old novels that had aged over years, with post-it marks, and added notes – the works. I was a bundle of nerves. Mukesh asked me to just relax, and we all jumped right in.”

Sanjana revealed how food was a huge mutual topic of love for them, in addition to academia.

“Mukesh, him and I — all helpless foodies. We ordered a lavish spread. Looked at the dining table, yet we decided to take to the floor, spread our meal on a mat, and started gorging. He mocked me for how much food I could eat, but the food was a huge mutual love for us in addition to academia,” she said.

The actress added: “This lunch, most oddly, was marked with my father sending me a text saying we got a letter home telling us I had become a Gold Medalist at Delhi University. Sushant, Mukesh and the whole team were ecstatic to hear this news too – and what followed was champagne (that we never got the chance to open and celebrate with) and the kindest note from him about what the colliding of academia and cinema means even to him and the value it holds, which I still have tucked firmly in my drawer.”

Dil Bechara” is the official remake of 2014 Hollywood romantic drama “The Fault In Our Stars”, based on John Green’s popular novel of the same name. Budding actress Sanjana Sanghi stars opposite Sushant in the film.

The film will see Saif Ali Khan in a cameo. Composer AR Rahman and lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya have collaborated to create music for the project. Sushant’s last film “Dil Bechara” will premiere on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar on July 24.

Veteran Bengali actor Sabyasachi Chakrabarty has had Bollywood exposure in “Dil Se..”, “Parineeta” and “Khakee“, besides a brush with international cinema in Mira Nairs “The Namesake”. The actor who has been popular as Feluda among Bengali film buffs, shares he missed out on working with superstars Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan while in Bollywood.

“Most of the time I had to say ‘no’ to an opportunity because the role came to me at the last minute — when the casting director calls me and asks for dates within 15 days. At times they say that they have outdoor shooting abroad that I have to be a part of. Since I always have schedules for at least two months in hand, I couldn’t say no to all those I had already committed because of one offer that comes at the very last moment,” Sabyasachi Chakrabarty told IANS.

“Having said that I did miss out on working with some of the stars and that I feel bad about. Aamir Khan thought of a character for me in ‘Lagaan’. Shah Rukh Khan thought about one role for me in ‘Ashoka’. There were many such offers I couldn’t take,” shared the actor who recently appeared in the Zee5 web series ‘Lalbazaar’.

However, Sabyasachi Chakrabarty shared his experience of rejection, too.

“There were instances when I was selected, went to Mumbai, spoke to the producer of the film. Then, from the newspapers, I got to know that the film has started its first schedule of shooting and they did not even inform me I am not in the film! But ye sab to hota hi rehta hai hum sabke saath (these things keep happening to us). I see no reason of feeling disappointed. I do not get into depression by such incidents. You move on and as long as you are alive, keep your hopes alive!” smiled the actor.
