Kim Kardashian on Instagram Shows Her Love for Kanye West: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were destined to be together. At least, that’s what it seems like from the throwback photo the reality star posted on Instagram Saturday.
Kardashian and West were married in May 2014, but they met more than a decade before that. And the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star shared an old picture to remind fans that she always “had eyes” for the rapper.
“Always had 👀 for him 😘,” Kardashian captioned the picture of the two from years ago. Her sisters were quick to comment, too. “Awwwwwwwwwww it was written in the stars,” Khloé Kardashian commented. Kendall Jenner wrote, “looooovvveeeee this.”
Back in 2017, Kardashian talked to Ryan Seacrest about the first time she and West met, retelling the story for the Keeping Up With the Kardashians 10-year special.
“I met him I think in 2002 or 2003,” Kardashian explained to Seacrest. “He was recording a song with Brandy, and I was her friend. I vividly remember hanging out with him, and then they did a video together, so I’d see him a few times. He was asking his friends: ‘Who is this Kim Kardajan?’ He didn’t know what my name was.” Fast forward to 2019, and KUWTK is featuring playful conversations between the couple where she brags to him that she’s the more famous one.
As Cosmopolitan explains, one Kanye West song hints that he fell in love with his now-wife while she was still with her ex-husband Kris Humphries. West’s “Theraflu” features the lyrics “I fell in love with Kim ’round the same time she had fell in love with him.” After Kardashian and Humphries split, she and West started dating in 2012; their first child, North West, was born in 2013.
It’s hard to remember a time before Kim and Kanye were together, or when he wouldn’t have known who she was in the first place. But time has a funny way of changing things, and it seems like their love story was written years before they even got together.
Primal Scream, Dua Lipa, Ghostpoet and more show solidarity by attending London Black Lives Matter protest
The event was organised as part of a day of action against discrimination following widespread protests in the US and across the world following the death of George Floyd while in police custody in Minneapolis last week (May 25).
Former police officer Derek Chauvin has been charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter, while three other officers now all face charges of aiding and abetting second-degree murder, and aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter.
The event, which began in Hyde Park, saw many chanting George Floyd’s name and carrying signs bearing his name.
Footage posted on social media showed Dua Lipa joining the crowds alongside boyfriend Anwar Hadid, who shared videos on Instagram.
Primal Scream also posted footage on the band’s official social media accounts, describing the event as “beautiful.”
Other footage came from Sam Smith, who shared a series of powerful banners and photos from the march.
Ghostpoet, meanwhile, said his first ever march was “life-changing”.
Yesterday’s event also saw John Boyega receiving widespread praise for addressing the huge crowd.
He told the crowd: “Black lives have always mattered. We have always been important. We have always meant something. We have always succeeded regardless. And now is the time. I ain’t waiting.”
Boyega also told protesters that he was “speaking to you from my heart”, adding: “Look, I don’t know if I’m going to have a career after this, but fuck that.”
Many protestors at yesterday’s march also wore face masks due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, while organisers stressed the need to enforce social distancing guidelines.
It comes after a number of names from across the worlds of music and entertainment have publicly called for justice for George Floyd following his death last week. The likes of Ariana Grande, Ice Cube and Snoop Dogg also called on Americans to vote in yesterday’s presidential primaries (June 2).

London to get new socially distanced music event and venue this October
A new socially distanced, immersive music event and venue will launch in London this October as the coronavirus pandemic continues.
One Night Records have announced that the event and venue, deemed ‘Lockdown Town’, will launch this October at an as yet “secret” pop-up location near London Bridge. The event will run from October 2 until October 31 and will take fans on a nostalgic journey through 1950’s rock and roll.

Describing the experience, venue organisers said “the exciting new live event, the first of its kind to be designed as a social distanced experience, will offer guests the chance to spend a unique night out together with a group of friends or family in a specially designed safe environment.”
Tim Wilson, Managing Director of One Night Records says: “We’re going to do it safely, but we’re going to get people back together and we’re going to give them an amazing night. The social distancing is part of the show so guests won’t notice it. We want to give Londoners something to book now and to look forward to.”
in recent weeks, venues have spoken of their concerns and requirements if live gigs were to be allowed in the UK again under the easing of coronavirus lockdown restrictions – and what it could mean if social distancing was enforced at shows.
The immediate future of live music in the UK remains uncertain. With the majority of the summer’s shows and festivals cancelled or postponed, with social restrictions potentially being kept in place in the UK for the rest of the year.
In the US, the mayors of L.A. and New York suggested that public concerts won’t be able to return until 2021, with a poll finding that most gig-goers would rather wait until a vaccine is found until attending shows again.
Many countries in Europe and Scandinavia have also banned mass gatherings until September, although Sweden had controversially allowed for gigs with up to a capacity of 40 people to take place with appropriate social distancing measures in place. Additionally, Spain is looking to phase in live music events from May in a number of stages with gradually increasing capacities.
Back in April, Music Venue Trust (MVT) launched a new campaign, ‘Save Our Venues’, in a bid to stave off the continued economic threat to over 500 grassroots music venues throughout the UK.
Artists and fans are being encouraged to head to the campaign’s website if they wish to help save a venue currently in crisis, where they can access “the tools and guidance to perform an ‘at home’ gig in support of that particular venue”.
Bhad Babie enters rehab for mental health and substance abuse treatment
Bhad Babie has entered rehab to seek treatment for mental health and substance abuse issues, her management has confirmed.
The rapper, real name Danielle Bregoli, has been in the facility for several weeks as she undergoes treatment for a “combination of things”, including childhood trauma and substance abuse.
In a statement issued to TMZ, her management team said: “We are very proud of Danielle for recognising that she needed help and seeking it out.”
A further statement on her Instagram confirmed she was “in a treatment center receiving and continuing to receive professional support.”
Bregoli first show to fame in 2016, after a notorious performance on Dr Phil spawned her viral catchphrase “Catch me outside, how about that?”
In 2017, she went on to become the youngest female rapper ever to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with her debut single ‘These Heaux’.
Her debut mixtape, ’15’, secured her second top 100 entry with ‘Hi Bitch’ and also featured collaborations with YG, Lil Baby, and City Girls.
Late last year, she spoke out after online footage showed her fighting rival Woah Vicky, whose real name is Victoria Waldrip.
The incident reportedly occurred at a recording studio in Georgia, after Bhad Bhabie “pulled up” on Waldrip.
