Earlier this year, fans were blown away with Aditya Roy Kapoor and Disha Patani’s sizzling chemistry in Malang. Along with some youthful romance and fun, the film also had riveting suspense. Actors like Anil Kapoor and Kunal Kemmu played pivotal roles in this Mohit Suri directorial. Now, Shraddha Kapoor is all set to join the sequel of this thriller.

People who have watched the Malang know the film had an open ending. Anil Kapoor’s character receives a call from a woman who says she has to report a murder. The voice is of none other than Shraddha Kapoor. Now, the story of Malang 2 will also involve Kapoor’s character.

As reported by Pinkvilla, source revealed, “Mohit had also spoken to Shraddha for Malang but her dates back then couldn’t be managed. Then, he went on for a completely fresh pairing with Disha and Aditya. Given their equation, when Mohit asked her to just step in for the little voiceover in the end, she immediately agreed. Of course, she was aware that this could spiral into a part two, which she would be leading. That discussion has already happened between Shraddha and Mohit. They will be reuniting once again after Half Girlfriend.”

This would be a reunion not only for Shraddha Kapoor and Mohit Suri, but also Shraddha and Aditya Roy Kapur. Fans loved them together in films like Aashiqui 2 and Ok Jaanu. So it would be interesting to see what madness will her character bring to the story of Malang 2.

Naezy: I am missing live gigs
Naezy On Live Concerts Post Lockdown: “We’ll Have To Find Different Avenues To Earn Money”

Rapper and hip-hop artist Naezy says that he is already missing live concerts, where he gets to interact with fans. He is trying hard to embrace the ‘new normal’.

“I am already missing live gigs and we know that in the coming year, music festivals and live shows will not take place. We are live artistes who are a part of the hip-hop culture and underground music scene. Honestly speaking, we earn money from these gigs, our popularity has grown from interacting with our audience. Everything depends on how relatable and relevant we are,” Naezy told IANS.

“So obviously, we are going to be affected even after the lockdown is relaxed in our country. People will not come out in a large gathering just for the joy of music. I think we have to find different avenues to earn money. Being an artiste of today’s generation, we are also social media influencers. So, maybe we will do more digital campaign and brand collaboration. We have to do virtual gigs — but nothing, absolutely nothing, can give us the high of standing on a stage and performing in front of fans!” said the rapper who released his new track “302” recently.

At the start of his career, Naezy, collaborated with rapper Divine to create the song “Mere gully mein” that later featured in Zoya Akhtar’s “Gully Boy“.

So, how does he deal with the lockdown blues? “I do not want to feel depressed. I want to improve my skill as a rapper and as a writer. The situation is really not in our hand, it is an unpredictable scene. I am badly missing live shows. You know, this year I did not even feel (the urge) to celebrate Eid When you see poorest of the poor losing lives on the roads, not only because of the virus but also (because they are trying to find) their way back home, it hurts. Yeh kaisa time hai yaar, bas ab ye sab khatam ho (what kind of a time is this, let it all all now)!” said the rapper.

Rakul Preet Singh’s Photoshoot For PETA India Breaks The Internet

Actress Rakul Preet Singh says she has been feeling way lighter since she turned vegan earlier this year. She has appeared in a new campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals – PETA India that encourages fans to “Try Vegan”.

“It was a very conscious decision (to go vegan) when I heard about the damage that the environment is going through, the number of animals that are killed, the chicken that’s bred doesn’t ever run in open fields. They grow up with a lot of trauma, they grow up with a lot of fear and I think that comes in the meat also that you think is high in protein and that you consume,” she said.

“I personally have been feeling way lighter ever since I turned vegan. I just feel that my energy levels are to the optimum, I didn’t know that shift till the time I converted into a vegan. But I think it’s great! It’s easily digestible in the body, it’s not hard on your gut so there are many benefits and I’ll just say that try it out for yourself, test it out for yourself guys. Give yourself at least 15 days or 20 days and see the difference. It’s good for the environment and it’s good for you and it’s good for the animals,” she added.

During the coronavirus pandemic, many people have lost their jobs as the nation has been brought to a standstill due to the lockdown imposed by the Indian government. India is a country where finding a job is not easy on account of its huge population and good competition but you get the shock of your lifetime to know that there is one teacher Anamika Shukla who has been teaching in 25 schools for the past 13 months and has earned around Rs. 1 crore from these schools as her salary.

Representational Image

What is more shocking is the fact that she is not doing it for one or two schools but 25 schools of different districts. She is registered as a full time science teacher in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) which is a residential school for girls who belong from poor sections of the society and the appointment of teachers is carried out on the contract basis. If we talk about the salary, usually a teacher is paid around Rs. 30K per month.

As per the records, Anamika Shukla is from Mainpuri and was working in KGBV, Raebareli till the month of February 2020 when the forgery was caught. Anand Prakash who is the basic education officer in Raebareli said that though the letter issued by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Office which directed six districts to investigate about Anamika Shukla doesn’t included Raebareli’s name, they still searched on their level and saw that a woman was working by that name at KGBV, Raebareli, as well but she didn’t reply to the notice that was issued to her.

The matter caught everybody’s attention when the exercise to create a digital database of teachers started. This database was being built on the Manav Sampada portal and various details of the teachers were entered in this database. When the database got completed, the authorities noticed that a teacher with the same name and same details is being registered in 25 schools.

Vijay Kiran Anand, the director general of school education, stated that it is a matter of big surprise that a person has been able to commit such a fraud for so long despite the fact that real-time monitoring is taking place in primary schools of Uttar Pradesh. It is difficult to understand how a teacher has marked her attendance at different locations as the attendance is marked online at Prerna portal.

The inquiry has been delayed a lot due to lockdown and it is still to be found out whether she was using the same bank account for receiving salaries from all the schools.

It will be quite interesting to know who Anamika Shukla is and how she managed it all. Let’s wait and watch!
