Diddy‘s son, King Combs, has sustained minor injuries after being involved in a car crash with a drunk driver.

The 22-year-old rapper’s Ferrari was hit by a Tesla “speeding down Sunset Blvd.” in Los Angeles in the early hours of yesterday morning (August 5), according to TMZ.

King, whose real name is Christian Combs, suffered some injuries but was treated at the scene and didn’t need to be taken to the hospital.

The Tesla driver was arrested for DUI after failing a field sobriety test, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

King, who is the son of hip-hop mogul Diddy and actress/model Kim Porter, who died from pneumonia in November 2018, took to Instagram to post about the incident.

“IM GOOD !!! Thank you GOD. Thank you to everybody who reached out!” he wrote. “Last night was crazy seen my life flash before my eyes !! I was hit by a drunk driver ! Everybody out there do not DRINK AND DRIVE Thank GOD I walked out ALIVE.”

He concluded: “Now back in the stu!!”

Meanwhile, King Combs features on the recent Teyana Taylor song, ‘How Do You Want It?’, taken from her new LP, ‘The Album’.

On the new track, the pair flip the Ma$e and Total classic ‘What You Want’, which itself samples Curtis Mayfield‘s ‘Right on for the Darkness’, and was released through King Combs’ father’s Bad Boy Records in 1998.

SuperM announce debut album, ‘Super One’

SuperM

SuperM have announced they’ll be dropping their debut full-length album ‘Super One’ on September 25, with two singles set for release beforehand.

The first single ‘100’ will be out on August 14, while ‘Tiger Inside’ will drop on September 1.

‘Super One’ is the follow up to the band’s self-titled EP, which was released on October 4 last year. It landed a number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart, making SuperM the second South Korean group in history to top the US album chart and the first Korean act to do so with a debut release.

Dubbed “the Avengers of K-pop”, the supergroup made their official debut in 2019 with the track ‘Jopping’, after being unveiled by K-pop label SM Entertainment.

Artists from some of the genre’s most recognised bands came together to form the outfit, which is comprised of Baekhyun and Kai from EXO, NCT 127’s Taeyong and Mark, Lucas and Ten from WayV and SHINee’s Taemin.

At the band’s unveiling, SM executive Chris Lee compared the group to Marvel’s Avengers.

“We’re maintaining their groups, their solo careers, and on top of this we have this ‘Avengers’ group to pull them together,” he said, as reported by Forbes.

“There’s already an Iron-Man, a Thor, etc; and just like how the Avengers can have their own successful movies, there is a different kind of energy when they are together as the Avengers.”

“We want to create a synergy between their groups, them as solo acts, and the Super M group to create a big wave in this K-pop industry.”

TOBACCO announces new album, shares new single ‘Babysitter’ featuring Trent Reznor

Tobacco and Trent Reznor

TOBACCO has announced a new album, ‘Hot, Wet & Sassy’. The industrial producer, real name Tom Fec, has also shared the first single, ‘Babysitter’, with a surprising feature from Trent Reznor.

The track renders Reznor’s voice almost unrecognisable, hiding it under vocoder and Fec’s similarly distorted voice. Listen to it below:

In a press release, Fec said the music of ‘Babysitter’ was “new for me”.

“I wanted to write a song that was everything I am and have been, and then like one notch further. Trent was the notch further,” he said.

TOBACCO toured with Nine Inch Nails back in 2017, but the collaboration is otherwise the first time Fec and Reznor have worked together on studio music.

‘Hot, Wet & Sassy’ will mark Fec’s first album under the TOBACCO moniker since 2016’s ‘Sweatbox Dynasty’. Of the new record, Fec said he wanted to move in a new direction.

“For the past decade I’ve had this motherfxcker (sic) on my shoulder that makes me pick away at structure and melody. Purposely covering up moments because I can. That really came to a peak on Sweatbox,” he said.

“I wanted the opposite this time. Write the songs without ripping them in half. I went from ‘what would the Butthole Surfers do?’ to ‘what would Cyndi Lauper do?’”

TOBACCO released the first single from the record, ‘Centaur Skin’, late last month. ‘Hot, Wet & Sassy’ will arrive on October 30 via Ghostly International.

The tracklist of ‘Hot, Wet & Sassy’ is:

1. ‘Centaur Skin’
2. ‘Pit’
3. ‘Headless to Headless’
4. ‘Stabbed by a Knight’
5. ‘Chinese Aquarius’
6. ‘ASS-TO-TRUTH’
7. ‘Jinmenken’
8. ‘Babysitter’ [ft. Trent Reznor]
9. ‘Road Warrior Pisces’
10. ‘Poisonous Horses’
11. ‘Mythemim’
12. ‘Body Double’
13. ‘Motherfuckers 64’
14. ‘Perfect Shadow’
