Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted that he would be addressing the nation on April 3 at 9 in the morning amidst the chaos of the 21 days lockdown due to coronavirus.
“At 9 am tomorrow morning, I’ll share a small video message with my fellow Indians,” PM Modi tweeted in English and Hindi.
It was in one his previous messages to the country in which the PM issues the 21 days lockdown and suggested to the whole nation to stay in their houses and reassured the population that basic necessities of everyone will be fulfilled.
During the 21 days lockdown that started on March 25, 2020, PM Modi has been sharing a number of unique and helpful ideas to make the best use of the quarantine period including a series of yoga exercises to the citizens to stay fit while at home.
Recently, he shared a video on ‘Yoga Nidra’ — a yoga asana which he practices at least twice a week.
“Whenever I get time, I practice Yoga Nidra once or twice a week,” he wrote on Twitter. Yoga Nidra is known for relieving stress. “It furthers overall well-being, relaxes the mind, reduces stress and anxiety,” he added.
In his regular Mann Ki Baat program, he also shared how Indians were making the best use of their time during the lockdown, by spending time with their families, making new dishes and reading books etc.
Apart from that, Modi held a meeting with chief ministers on the outbreak via video-conferencing on Thursday.
The number of COVID-19 cases climbed to 1,965 in the country on Thursday while the death toll rose to 50, according to the Union Health Ministry.
