Another announcement has been made by Jeff Bezos that he is proud of hiring and training deaf associates program, Amazon have in India at delivery stations in India.
Recently, Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos was on three-day India tour. Where he mentioned that they’re investing $1 billion and this investment will create 1 million jobs in India.
Today, he tweeted a video where he was discussing how you work and taking care of customers with few Amazon employees. Also mentioned, their managers are learning basic sign language to communicate with deaf associates.
‘Meeting this group was a moving experience for me’, he added.
He tweeted, “Proud of the program we have in India to hire and train deaf associates at our delivery stations. Managers learn basic sign language to be able to communicate. Meeting this group was a moving experience for me.”

Friday, he also mentioned that they have partners with several Kirana stores in India, where he delivered a package by himself in Mumbai. These stores will work as a delivery points for Amazon. This development was emphasized by Piyush Goyal back in November, 2019 to partnerships with ecommerce marketplaces and platforms.
In his three day India tour, Jeff Bezos met with key Indian industrialist like Mukesh Ambani and Sunil Bharti Mittal. Jeff also had a fireside chat with several Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai and the last day of his India tour.
