South-Korean smartphone maker Samsung is rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy Z Flip. The latest update brings the June 2020 security patch to the device. As per the changelog, the update brings stability improvements, new features, and performance upgrade to the smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip June 2020 Android security update carries the software build version F700FXXS2ATF3 and is about 5.37 GB in firmware size. The update runs on the OneUI 2.1 custom skin. It is currently rolling out for users based in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America, SamMobile reports. However, it could be available to other regions soon.

The latest Samsung Galaxy Z Flip update fixes several security vulnerabilities on the device, making the smartphone more secure than before. Samsung hasn’t detailed any specific patches by this update. However, the June 2020 security patch, as per the company’s changelog, addresses 29 Samsung Security Vulnerabilities and Exposures.

This Samsung phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC and packs a 3,300 mAh battery with 15W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, the handset supports Wi-Fi dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 4G LTE, and USB Type-C port for charging.
Realme C3 update rolling out with June 2020 security patch
Realme has started rolling out a new software update for its Realme C3 device in India. The latest update brings the month-old June 2020 Android security patch to the smartphone, along with several new optimizations, and bug fixes. The Realme C3 latest update carries the software Build version RMX2020_11_A.33, and its OTA firmware size is around 409 MB.
As per the changelog, the update brings optimizations for the game quality audio and probabilistic lagging issue. It also brings enhancements to the stability of the overall system. Realme has fixed several problems in the smartphone with the update, among the lag issue with the power button to light up the screen and fingerprint to unlock bug.
The update further details some major fixes with the weather app location problem, games center FPS was shown as zero, and the phone was not getting charged in some scenarios. Additionally, the June 2020 security patch fixes a host of security vulnerabilities in the smartphone.

That includes a 12-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, the smartphone equips a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
The Realme C3 has a Mediatek Helio G70 SoC and Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. It packs a 5,000 mAh battery but comes with standard 10W charging support. In connectivity, the smartphone supports Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 4G LTE, and a micro-USB port for charging.

Realme’s newly launched Buds Q wireless earphones are now available on open sale. The company launched it about a week back, and we saw its debut sale on July 1. Following the first sale, Realme announced that the earbuds sold over 25,000 units in the first sale.
Consumers looking to buy Realme Buds Q wireless can head over to Realme.com and Amazon India for the open sale. Realme hasn’t announced anything officially, so we are not sure if this open sale remains active permanently, or the company is trying to sell out extra stock. These can further be customized to a user’s preference using the Realme Link app. The Buds Q wireless was first launched in China last month. The Buds Q earbuds have been designed in collaboration with French designer Jose Levy. They feature 10mm drivers under the hood and have interchangeable ear tips made of silicone. These are also IPX4 rated, which means it can survive water and dust splashes.

The case of the Realme Buds Q features a micro-USB port for charging. However, there is no wireless charging like the Buds Air. The earbuds offer support for the Realme Link app, super-low latency mode, touch controls, and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. The company claims that users will get up to 4.5 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. Along with the case, a full charge can last you up to 20 hours.
OnePlus Nord India pre-orders to go live soon; Amazon listing indicates at a lineup of smartphones
Smartphone maker OnePlus is all set to launch its much-anticipated smartphone in the Indian market, the OnePlus Nord. As part of the preparation, the company is running an elaborate campaign to drum up hype around the upcoming device. This includes a documentary series, sharing teasers on Instagram, regular posts, and even pre-orders. The company even opened limited pre-orders for 100 users in the international market on July 1. An interesting aspect of this pre-order was that the company has not shared any details regarding the upcoming device. It is also worth noting that the July 1 pre-order was not open for Indian users. The company revealed in stories on the official OnePlus Nord Instagram that it is planning to bring pre-orders to India. OnePlus did not share any concrete dates regarding the sale of the upcoming device for India. The company added, “To all our fans in India – you didn’t really think you were going to miss our on Nord pre-orders, did you?” in a story. It continued in the next story, “We’ll have more to say about this soon.” The company has already listed Nord on the Amazon India website. It is likely that the company will start the pre-orders on Amazon in the coming weeks if not days.

Inspecting the listing, the company also likely shared some more information regarding the OnePlus Nord. As per the Amazon India listing, the company asked the users to get ready for the “OnePlus Nord series”. This likely hints at more than one device launch in the coming weeks.
We are not sure if the company is talking about different RAM and storage variants. Or, the company is actually talking about multiple smartphone models as part of the OnePlus Nord lineup. Beyond this, the company has already shared the reason behind naming the series, “Nord”. We also likely know some important hardware details from recent leaks.
