Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has created an outrage across the country. The actor’s father lodged an FIR against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty in Patna Police station. Soon after which, Bihar Police travelled to Mumbai to investigate the case from every angle. Now, Union Minister RK Singh has alleged that ‘Mumbai Police did not do anything and were investigating people for publicity’. He further says that they didn’t file FIR and didn’t tell who they are probing. He tweeted, “Mumbai police didn’t do anything in the case and were investigating people for publicity. He further says that people’s demand to transfer case to CBI is justified. He added, “People’s demand for transferring the case to CBI is justified. I took this request to Maharashtra CM, but he was not in favour. CBI probe would be better from the point of justice & family also wants the same: RK Singh, Union Minister on #SushantSinghRajput case. (sic)”
Meanwhile, Bihar Police are investigating the case and while recreating the death scene at Sushant’s Bandra residence, they even interrogated the household staff. The man, who worked as a sweeper said that Rhea used to control everything in the house and no one was allowed to enter his room without her permission. The staff member said, “ Madam even used to decide whether Sushant’s room will be cleaned or not.” He also added that there was a time when he was not able to meet his staff.
Bihar Police is keeping a close tab on Sushant’s friend Sidharth Pithani’s whereabouts. Patna SIT has submitted a request to the Mumbai Police to give them access to Suahnt’s post-mortem report and other important documents for the probe. The Mumbai Police will submit reports only after getting legal advice.
Sushant Singh Rajput Googled ‘Painless Death’, ‘Bipolar Disorder’, ‘Schizophrenia’ Before His Death, Reveals Mumbai Police Commissioner
Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who breathed his last on June 14, after he was found hanging at his Bandra residence, searched keywords such as ‘painless death’, ‘Bipolar Disorder’ and ‘schizophrenia’ before taking the drastic step. On Monday, The Mumbai Police Commissioner addressed the media and had said that the actor was suffering from bipolar disorder and was undergoing treatment for the same. Police Chief said, “Sushant would search for articles and his name on Google to find out what was being written about him. He would also search for ‘painless death’.”
“All bank statements from January 2019 to June 2020 have been analysed. There were around Rs 14.5 crore credit in the account. There is a fixed deposit of Rs 4 crore also”, the cop mentioned.
He further said that the late actor was upset after his name was linked to the death of his ex-manager Disha Salian, who died after falling from a high-rise building on June 8.
Meanwhile, one of the two friends of actor Sushant Singh Rajput appeared before Bihar Police while the other one has also contacted the police after they received notices under Section 160 of the CrPC. Bihar Police had sent notices to Sushant’s friends – Dipesh and Siddharth Pathani – in connection with the actor’s alleged suicide case.
Patna Range IGP Sanjay Singh told IANS on Monday that both were sent notices under section 160 of CrPC on Sunday and were asked to sit face-to-face and record the statement. Dipesh appeared before the police at night but Siddharth is yet to arrive.
Also, in the case of forcibly quarantining IPS officer Vinay Tiwari, who has gone to Mumbai to investigate the case, Singh said that Bihar Police was also looking into these cases. Tiwari reached Mumbai on Sunday afternoon. On reaching there, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation officials quarantined Tiwari before he could take his first big step.
Earlier, Tiwari had said at the Mumbai airport that the investigation into the Sushant case was moving in the right direction. He then went to a guest house in Goregaon with four of his companions where he had a long chat with his colleagues. On Monday, he was to meet DCP Abhishek Trimukhe of Bandra Zone-9. Trimukhe is looking after the case related to Sushant’s suspicious death.

In Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case latest development, Mumbai Commissioner of Police, Param Bir Singh has said that the actor had ‘Bipolar Disorder’ and was ‘undergoing treatment and taking medicines’ for the same. He even stated that ‘what circumstances led to his death is the subject of investigation’. He also told news agency ANI that so far 56 people have recorded their statement and all angles are being investigated – professional rivalry, financial transactions, or health.

Meanwhile, the hospital dean, who conducted the post-mortem of the actor has claimed that there is no foul play in his death. In an interview with Times Now, he stated that he cannot decide on this right now because post-mortem has been done and the report is with the forensic department.
On Monday, IPS officer Vinay Tiwari has been forcibly quarantined by BMC officials. Taking to Twitter, Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey said, “Tiwari reached Mumbai from Patna on official duty to lead the police team there but he has been forcibly quarantined by BMC officials at 11 pm on Sunday. He was not provided accommodation in the IPS mess, despite request, and was staying in a guest house in Goregaon.”
