Why They Cut This Endgame Character From The Movie: The struggle against Thanos might have gone very differently if screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely had gotten their way.
In an interview with The New York Times, the pair reveal that they almost introduced a decades-old Marvel character in Avengers: Infinity War, one with vast cosmic powers.
In fact, that might even be understating the case. The character in question is the multi-dimensional entity known as the Living Tribunal, and the scope of its powers over the multiverse are really quite tremendous.
Unlike nearly every other character in Marvel lore, the Living Tribunal is a singular entity, with no alternate counterparts in different universes. Instead, it has dominion over the entire Multiverse. No matter how you slice it, this entity is kind of a big deal.
The Living Tribunal is usually depicted as a giant, golden, humanoid figure with three faces, each one representing a different aspect of the being: Equity, Necessity, and Vengeance. The Living Tribunal seeks to maintain balance
and order throughout the entire Multiverse, and all three of its faces must agree that an action is necessary before intervening in the affairs of mere mortals. However, once it does decide an intervention is in order, its authority is absolute.
It’s all pretty heady stuff, but it’s easy to see why Markus and McFeely toyed with the idea of throwing such a fascinating character into the mix for Infinity War. But seeing as the film and Avengers: Endgame are already stuffed with plenty of characters, it’s also easy to see why Marvel Studios ultimately nixed the idea. Intriguingly, Markus and McFeely suggested that head honcho Kevin Feige might have another reason for omitting the character from the
action: Namely, he wants to save it for a future film.
Asked if there were any characters the duo wanted for Infinity War and Endgame that they couldn’t have, Markus told The New York Times: McFeely continued: The fight on Titan was quite eventful enough, and the sudden appearance of an as-yet-unseen golden god with three faces might have totally thrown moviegoers for a loop.
However, Markus went on to say: McFeely says then openly worried that they’d just spoiled a big surprise. And that’s when Markus suggested that the Living Tribunal could have his very own streaming show.
McFeely even proposed the show would be similar to Judge Judy. But really, that’s just silly. “Are you trying to justify to me the fact that you’re an idiot?” Perhaps Markus and McFeely did blab a bit too freely, because we can think of a perfect vehicle for the Living Tribunal to receive a proper introduction to the MCU: The Eternals deals with a race of immortal, superpowered beings created millions of years ago by the Celestials and tasked with defending the Earth
from their evil counterparts, the Deviants.
Think about it: an appearance by the Living Tribunal in The Eternals wouldn’t feel out of place at all, where it could’ve been a little jarring if this entity just popped in to Infinity War to assist the good guys. Even if they could’ve used the help…
At any rate, Markus and McFeely clearly have so many ideas, they couldn’t possibly have all been covered in Infinity War and Endgame, even though they’re two of the biggest event films of all time. Here’s hoping Endgame isn’t their MCU swan song.
After all, the six films they’ve written so far, all three Captain America movies, Thor: The Dark World, Infinity War, and Endgame, add up to more than a quarter of the MCU’s entire output. And all those films pretty much landed right
on the money, no?
Mark Wahlberg’s Daughter Changed His Approach Towards Women As Now He Corrects His Friends Passing Se*ist Comments
Known for movies like “The Fighter”, “The Departed” and “Patriots Day”, Mark Wahlberg credits his daughter for changing him and the actor says he’s now more “respectful” towards women.
Wahlberg has children Ella, 16, Michael, 14, Brendan, 11, and Frace, 10, with his wife Rhea Durham.
“My firstborn being a girl completely changed me. I have friends with only boys and they’ll be like, ‘Check that out’ or ‘Look at her’ and I’ll say, ‘Dude, have some respect, that’s somebody’s daughter,” Wahlberg told Men’s Health magazine, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The actor says he wants his children to follow their passions.
Mark Wahlberg said: “I’m sitting across from my son just yesterday and I’m like, ‘Dude if you don’t work hard in school right now, you will regret it later. You always give it 110 percent then you’ll never have to live with regret.’ I’m speaking from experience.
“I’ve got to instil that ethic, if you want to make something happen, the only way to do that is to roll up your sleeves and do the work. What I want to give them is the drive and desire to find out what they’re passionate about and go and be the best version of themselves.”
He added: “Maybe one will want to go into acting, others may want to take over one of these companies we’re building. And one may say, ‘I want to be a professional skateboarder.’”
The actor says he doesn’t want to force his children to go to church every Sunday with him but he hopes his faith inspires them.
Mark Wahlberg : “My faith and all that ways heavy on me too, in a good way, to inspire them. I don’t force them to go to church with me every Sunday. And this is the first time I haven’t gone since my wife has known me in 19 years.
“They know that’s the most important thing for Dad, that’s how he starts his day, every day. So hopefully those things will rub off them.”
Fast & Furious Trivia: Vin Diesel & Paul Walker Led Bank-Vault Stealing Scene Was Shot In A Way You Can NEVER Imagine
Fast & Furious Trivia: Fast & Furious is one of the most loved Hollywood franchises. One of the main reasons that people in such a huge number love this series is the kind of action and thrill it provides to the genre lovers. Be it the larger than life personalities of F&F star cast or the high octane action, the series is always a perfect watch, if you are looking for a great time pass.
Today we’ll discuss an interesting trivia about Fast Five which will surely leave you fascinated. Before reading this trivia, just try to remember the climax scene in which Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) execute the stealing of a huge bank vault.
The mentioned climax scene of Fast Five has got enough thrills to keep you on the edge of your seat as the two drag it through the streets of Rio behind their cars. But do you know it was not what it seemed?
Well, the filmmaker actually shot those scenes with the vault but it wasn’t being dragged. Fast Five’s stunt coordinator once revealed for Vanity Fair that they created a mock-up fit around a truck that was linked to the cars of Vin & Paul. So while it looked like they were pulling the vault, it was actually moving on wheels behind them.
Well, of course, there were huge challenges in making it look like what people want to see. To shoot it convincingly, there was a detailed plan at place which has been explained in the video below. Watch out:
Chris Evans Messed Up The Auditon For THIS Seth Rogen Film 3 Times Describing It As A ‘Fu**ing Nightmare’
Every great actor has that one audition story in which he/she must’ve been chaotic and not being able to act. Chris Evans, who went on to become Marvel’s Captain America, also has one and it’s pretty dismal.
We’ve all known Chris Evans as this wonderful actor, who doesn’t just act good but is also aware wholly about how cinema works. But there was a horrid time when he was auditioning for Seth Rogen’s 2009 film Observe And Report.
In an interview with Backstage, Chris Evans said, “I walked in the room, and there were Seth and the director and a producer. For some reason, my brain just started shrieking, just screaming, ‘No, no, no.’ I began my audition, and about three lines in, I got this wave of sweats and my face went red. Mid-audition, I said, ‘I’m sorry, guys. I’m sorry. I’ve got to stop.’”
On the second try, Chris Evans said, “I go into the hallway, I collect my thoughts. I’m laughing at myself. Go back in, we start up again, and it f*cking happens again. My face just goes so red. I start sweating and I have to stop again.”
Chris Evans described this as a ‘fu*king nightmare’ to his agent. He went for the third time, “They got me back in a couple of days later and I’m back in. Don’t you f*cking know, it happened again! There’s a wave of heat and sweat and I had to stop again. And I just say, ‘Guys, I’m so sorry…I’m just going to go.’ I did not get that role.”
This surely is an inspirational anecdote by Chris Evans explaining how we should never quit. Yes, the result wasn’t something he expected, but this gave him the confidence of getting back up after falling for multiple times.
