‘Cause you done had your heart broke, and you’ve had enough
Huh, your ex-nigga, he was dumb as fuck
Soon as I gave her the dick, she fallin’ in love

Monkey on the dick, monkey on the dick
Ooh, ooh, monkey on the dick, monkey on the dick

Baby, show me that shit, show me love, show me-show me love
Show me that shit, show me love, show me-show me love

Players huddle up, cookie cold, better bundle up
All ’em other dudes had their chance, now they out of luck
When I bust a nut, I don’t never wanna cuddle up
Now, I went to the club, and guess who I seen?
A motherfucker that been stuntin’ on me
I tote one of the MACs, yo, back the thing out
Ain’t showin’ off my jewels, but shots gon’ ring out
Now, that’s what I get for fuckin’ with that dub
(Monkey on the dick, monkey on the dick
Ooh, ooh, monkey on the dick, monkey-)
For all my real niggas, I’m showin’ ’em mad love

Baby, show me that shit, show me love, show me-show me love

Okay, now show me what you gon’ do on the big stage (Ayy)
‘Cause I’m headin’ to Miami for a big rage (Vroom)

Yeah, but she gon’ ride the pipe in 26 ways (In 26 ways?)
(Got monkey on the dick)
Ayy, the way you bounce on it
I might have to fuck around and spend a house on it
Down Rodeo, now I’m spendin’ large amounts on it
Swipe the Platinum, I might empty my accounts on it, sheesh
She said her man’s a jerk
So, I pulled up while her man’s at work
(Monkey on the dick, I got–)
Yeah, she had the night shift, I made her cancel work
Then I asked her twerk on the D, I pulled out, splashed her shirt (Ooh, ooh)

Baby, show me that shit, show me love, show me-show me love
Show me that shit, show me love, show me-show me love
Wobble on the dick, wobble up, wobble-wobble up
Wobble on the dick, wobble up, wobble-wobble up
Show me that shit, show me love, show me-show me love
Show me that shit, show me love, show me-show me love
Wobble on the dick, wobble up, wobble-wobble up
Wobble on the dick, wobble up, wobble-wobble up

Bad bitches in the lobby but they wait for me (Huh)
I don’t pay for pussy (Huh), they should be payin’ me
Give me a lap dance, she said, “This one for free”
She feelin’ on my D, askin’ can she have it, please
And she know how I like it (Yeah)
I ain’t worried ’bout my pull out game
‘Cause I can’t hide it, I’m over-excited
What you wanna do to me?

Monkey on the dick, monkey on the dick
Ooh, ooh, monkey on the dick, monkey on the dick

Baby, show me that shit, show me love, show me-show me love

Wobble on the dick, wobble up, wobble-wobble up
Wobble on the dick, wobble up, wobble-wobble up
Show me that shit, show me love, show me-show me love
Show me that shit, show me love, show me-show me love
Wobble on the dick, wobble up, wobble-wobble up

Hurts share new track ‘Redemption’ and its brooding video

Hurts

Hurts have shared another new track from their forthcoming album – listen to ‘Redemption’ below.

The track is the third preview of the pop duo’s new album, ‘Faith’, which lands on September 4.

“REDEMPTION is another harbinger of what’s to come on the new album FAITH,” frontman Hutchcraft says of the new song.

“It’s a song about fear and doubt. It emerged as a beautiful moment of clarity during one of the most troubled periods of making the album.”

Multi-instrumentalist Adam Anderson goes on to call the track “a perfect storm of everything we do well individually, coming together in one moment”.

Back in May, Hutchcraft and Anderson returned with new single ‘Voices’, their first music since 2017, and recently followed it up with second single ‘Suffer’.

Hutchcraft recently spoke to NME about the band’s time away and the exhaustion that he experienced after the end of the band’s last tour. “I was physically and mentally absolutely exhausted. To the point where I was at breaking point.

“I had to stop and not do anything for a while because I couldn’t think, I couldn’t focus, or anything. And I didn’t know what the future held really. I didn’t know if we’d make another album again.”

Anderson added: “If you’d have told me when we started it, how coherent, powerful, and authentic it is, many months later, I probably wouldn’t have believed you. At one stage, I thought we had no chance.”

‘Entourage’ star Kevin Connolly accused of sexual assault by costume designer

Kevin Connolly has been accused of sexually assaulting a costume designer during a December 2005 wrap party in New York City.

Gracie Cox, a former assistant costume designer, alleges that the Entourage star sexually assaulted her during a wrap party for his directorial debut with The Gardener of Eden, reports the Daily Beast.

Cox said that before the incident, Connolly regularly flirted with her and singled her out several times on set while the movie was made.

The publication also reports that Connolly has denied the allegations and disputed her account in saying they had a mutual flirtation that culminated in a consensual sexual act.

Cox said: “We were at the party and I don’t think I’d been there for more than an hour or so when Kevin [Connolly] approached me and asked if I’d go with him for a smoke.

She said she was slightly intoxicated at that point and claimed that Connolly “led me down a hall to what I guess was the VIP lounge area.”

“As soon as we were alone in that area, he started to kiss me,” she claimed. “I didn’t know how to respond—but before I could even think about what to do about it, he pulled me into one of these little side [booths], and pulled down my pants, and turned me around, and within no time was inside of me. I was just in shock.”

She added that there was “not really a chance in my mind to object or resist.”

“It just happened really fast,” she continued “I froze and was in shock. Nothing like that had ever happened to me before in any way, shape or form. I was completely caught off-guard.”

Connolly has denied Cox’s allegations claiming that the sexual encounter was “consensual.” He made this statement to the Daily Beast via his lawyer.

The statement reads: “Kevin strongly supports victims of sexual assault and believes their claims should always be heard. As someone who has worked in this industry for four decades, he has treated people with nothing but respect and has maintained a stellar reputation. Therefore, he was completely shocked to learn of the allegations made by Gracie Cox from a wrap party in 2005.

“The incident with Ms. Cox was consensual, and he categorically denies any claim that it was assault. When they returned to the wrap party, Gracie’s boss, Amy Westcott, learned of what occurred and expressed her disappointment to both. Gracie shared with Kevin that she was embarrassed after getting in trouble with Amy, the head of the costume department. According to IMDB, it doesn’t appear that Gracie and Amy worked together on a project since then.”

“Amy and Kevin continued to work together for two more years on Entourage, and a few years later Amy recommended her assistant to work with Kevin on another job. Kevin completely understands Amy’s displeasure with the consensual act that transpired between Kevin and Gracie 15 years ago, after production had wrapped and they were no longer working together on the movie.

“Kevin acknowledges the lack of professionalism on his part, but he adamantly denies that it was anything other than a mutual consensual encounter.”

NME has reached out to representatives for Connolly for further comment.

Notting Hill Carnival unveils virtual celebration plans for 2020

Notting Hill Carnival has unveiled its virtual celebration plans for 2020.

Back in May, carnival organisers announced it would change to an online format for the first time in its 54 year history following the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Now, a virtual incarnation of the event – ‘Notting Hill Carnival: Access All Areas’ – will be be streamed across four channels which viewers can register for in advance here.

Spotify is also teaming up with the carnival to launch a dedicated microsite which will highlight the importance of carnival culture to the UK. The site will feature playlists curated by each of the official sound systems and the DJs of Carnival.

The site will also have podcast episodes exploring the carnival’s long rich history to current issues facing the Black community.

An official Afterparty will also be hosted by BBC Radio 1Xtra between 11-2am on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday. “1Xtra DJs and special guests will be showcasing the best in Dancehall, Soca, Hip-Hop, UKG and all Carnival sounds,” a statement from organisers said.

Matthew Phillip, Executive Director of Notting Hill Carnival said: “This year we faced the ultimate challenge of being unable to gather on the streets to celebrate our Carnival. But, now, more than ever, it’s important to keep the spirit of Notting Hill Carnival alive, giving an outlet to the thousands of people that spend all year creating incredible costumes and music for Europe’s largest event.

“Carnival is such an important part of people’s lives and key celebration of the multiculturalism of the UK, and we have a responsibility to our community and pioneers to honour that. We also have a responsibility to protect the black community and our elders by respecting social distancing and taking Carnival away from the streets for this year.  So this is a fantastic solution for 2020.”

He added: “We may not be able to celebrate together on the streets as usual, but we can all come together to celebrate one of the UK’s great cultural events online.”

Notting Hill Carnival is set to return in 2021.
